Evergreen Heritage Center Foundation
101 Braddock Heights
Frostburg, MD 21532-2345.
Based at the historic 131-acre Evergreen Heritage Center (EHC) in Allegany County, MD, the EHC Foundation provides award-winning education programs, all aligned with the Maryland State Curriculum. These hands-on enrichment programs, as well as the EHC’s three museums located in its historic farmhouse, barn, and 100-year-old coal mining camp, reinforce classroom studies, increase learning retention, and prepare students to be
more successful in school and in life.
The EHC’s impactful programs work by creating learning excitement and enabling active exploration of science and the arts. The result is an increase in student science and art literacy by 25 to 50% per class (per pre/post-tests)!
The Foundation, currently serves 12,000 students annually, pre-K through grade 12.
